My story of why I founded Immunocologie is no secret. After successfully beating a frightening diagnosis of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, I knew I wanted to do something more. I was so thankful for this second chance that I knew I wanted to give back. Having a professional background in skincare and beauty, I knew that I wanted to do something to help people look and feel their best.

While developing Immunocologie, I knew I wanted to create a line that was safe to put on—which, ultimately means in—our bodies. Chemo, while so important for battling cancer, is essentially dumping tons of toxins and chemicals into your body to fight this disease, which is why chemo is often accompanied by nasty side effects.

Unfortunately, cancer and cancer treatments can wreak havoc on the skin; I’ve experienced this firsthand. Treatments can compromise the skin and create various conditions and degrees of sensitivity. This is why it’s important to note that cancer is not a skin type—no two cancer patients are the same. This is also why it was important for me to formulate Immunocologie as a clean, holistic skincare line with none of the “no no” ingredients, such as toxins, artificial ingredients, parabens, phthalates, sulfates, mineral oils, formaldehyde, fragrances, or colors. Immunocologie is healthy for everyone.

My recommendation while looking for skincare products that are safe to use while undergoing treatment is that you look for ingredients that take down inflammation. Through my cancer journey and undergoing treatment, I found that it was most important to me to use products that included anti-inflammatory ingredients and properties for the skin.
